Why Choose Learnizo for KTU Maths?

KTU Engineering Maths (M1–M4) is the most failed subject cluster at KTU. 1-on-1 tuition that targets your specific weak modules makes the difference between passing and a supplementary.

KTU Maths Specialists

Tutors who have taught M1, M2, M3 and M4 extensively — familiar with KTU's module structure, internal question patterns and university paper style.

Module-by-Module Approach

Each KTU Maths paper has 5 modules — we cover them systematically, spending extra time on modules where you're weakest.

Exam-Focused Sessions

Previous year KTU Maths papers are a core part of every revision session — knowing the question types is as important as knowing the theory.

Understanding KTU Engineering Maths

KTU Engineering Mathematics is spread across four papers (M1 to M4) covering Semesters 1 through 5. Each paper has 5 modules and is examined in a 3-hour university paper worth 70 marks (with 30 marks for internal assessments). The 40% pass requirement in the university paper means students cannot afford to leave any module completely unprepared.

M1 — The Foundation Paper

M1 in Semester 1 covers differential calculus, matrix theory and sequences — topics that directly build on Class 12 Maths but go significantly deeper. Students who didn't master Class 12 calculus or matrices often find M1 the hardest paper of their engineering career. A targeted tutor who identifies which Class 12 topic is the root cause of the struggle makes M1 manageable much faster than self-study.

M3 — Transforms and Complex Analysis

M3 is where students encounter Laplace transforms, Fourier series and Z-transforms for the first time. Despite sounding intimidating, these topics follow a very structured pattern — learning the technique once, correctly, means the rest of the module becomes mechanical. Our tutors break these down step by step and walk through previous year papers to show exactly how questions are phrased in the university exam.

Internal Marks and University Strategy

KTU internal marks (series tests, assignments) contribute 30 marks to your total. Scoring well in internals gives a comfortable buffer for the university paper. Our tutors help you prepare for internal tests as well as the end-semester exam — so you go into the university paper with maximum marks already secured.

Revise KTU Maths Before Your Exam

Laplace transforms, Eigenvalue problems and series solutions are the topics students most often need to review the night before an exam. Recorded sessions make that possible.
